The career criminal whose mugshot went viral now
stands to make up to $30,000 a month as a high-end fashion model - if he gets
out of prison any time soon. 30-year-old Jeremy Meeks, who was
booked on weapons and gang charges recently, is being eyed off by modelling
agencies including Blaze Modelz for his 'hot gangster' look, according to TMZ.
The agency told the celebrity website that they could
book Meeks for runway jobs and campaigns with exclusive designers such as Versace
and Armani and he could earn between $15,000 and $30,000 a month.
Meeks' tell-tale gangland
tattoos wouldn't even disrupt his modelling aspirations. The agency thinks the
revealing teardrop is edgy and sexy, according to TMZ, which claims a rival agency
that didn't want to give its name is also keen to get Meeks on their books once
he's free.
However, that may be some time
off for the young father who is currently being held on $900,000 bail.
Meeks' steely-blue eyes have
seen tens of thousands of women fall under his spell but there is at least one
woman who isn't impressed by the online frenzy - the suspect's own wife.
The star-quality mugshot taken
after his arrest this week on felony weapons charges has become an Internment
sensation, with more than 89,000 'likes' on Facebook as of Saturday evening.
The 30-year-old career criminal
has become an object of lust for women the world over who took to Facebook and
Twitter lavishing praise on his high cheekbones, full lips and piercing blue
eyes.
But Meeks' spouse and the
mother of his 3-year-old son is not amused by the collective swooning over her
photogenic husband.
'She's furious,' Meeks' friend
Simone Johnson told CBS 13 at his
arraignment last Friday.
'Her man is in there and people
are taking it as a joke, thinking it's funny talking about his looks, saying
all kinds of crazy things.'
