The president’s daughter, Faith Elizabeth Sakwe got married on April 5th, 2014 traditionally to Godswill Osim Edward. The wedding venue was the country home of the President in his hometown Otuoke, Bayelsa State.

The groom paid N50,000 (About $300) as brideprice. He is from Cross Rivers state and his entourage was led by the Governor of his state, Governor Liyel Imoke in Bayelsa. Also in attendance were Hajia Bola Shagaya, Senator Ben Obi, Ifeanyi Uba, Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa, Governor Liyel Imoke, some 1st ladies and many more.
