Ex governor of CBN, Lamido Sanusi returned to the country on
today after attending an ECOWAS meeting in the Niger Republic.
Sanusi, who was in the company of APC chieftain and former
FCT Minister, Nasir El-Rufai, was briefly detained by the State Security
Service, SSS, at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos. His
international passport was also seized.
