British born Nigerian musician Lola Rae (full name Rachel Funmilola Garton) lost her father yesterday after a long battle with cancer. Read her tribute to him after the cut.

Only a few people knew how tough these three months of illness were for
us all, but throughout it you comforted us & reassured us all that
you will forever be with us. Finally the pain has left you and for that I
