Mo’ Abudu Only African Named In ‘Most Powerful Women on Global TV’ List

Nigerian talk-show host and media entrepreneur Mo’ Abudu has been listed among the ‘25 Most Powerful Women on Global TV’.
 
The rating which was carried out by US media, The Hollywood Reporter (THR) paired the CEO of the newly launched EbonyLife TV with other women around the globe that are deciders shaping an increasingly global industry.

THR describes Abudu as ‘Africa’s answer to Oprah‘. Abudu, 49, is the only African named in the list.

Some other women named in the list include Charlotte Moore – Controller, BBC One, U.K., Elisabeth Murdoch – Chairman, Shine Group, Australia, Martha Brass – COO, Endemol, The Netherlands, Cecile Frot-Coutaz – CEO, FremantleMedia, U.K.

Since launching out with her talk show ‘Moments with Mo’, Mo’ has  become a media giant in Africa culminating in the establishment of her television channel, EBonyLife TV.
