Joseph Ladipo, former coach of Nigeria’s female national soccer team, the Super Falcons is dead. The coach fondly called “Josy Lad” took the Super Falcons to the 2008 edition of the African Women’s Championships in which Nigeria won bronze.He died after a battle with a heart ailment with which he was diagnosed last year. His demise was confirmed by his son in Ibadan.
Josy Lad coached Shooting Stars and he was also famous in his days as coach of the now defunct Leventis United of Ibadan.
