Olympiakos Striker Michael Olaitan Stable After Collapsing During League Game

Nigerian striker Michael Olaitan is reported to be in 'stable condition' after collapsing during the first-half of Olympiakos' League game against Panathinaikos.

With less than 35 minutes into the match, the attacker inexplicably collapsed without being touched by an opponent.

The medical staff of both teams had to work hand in hand to give the Nigerian first aid before he was stretchered off the pitch.
Although there has been no word so far on why he collapsed, the player is said to have hurt his neck during his fall.
Olaitan, a former junior international, has been touted for a call-up to the senior national team, and enhanced his credentials with a solid performance as the Greek side beat Manchester United 2-0 in the Uefa Champions League.
Regarded as one of the top talents in Greek football, the ex Flying Eagle star has netted 11 goals in 23 matches in all competitions this season.
