Rumors that Lupita Nyong’o and rapper K’Naan are dating have been making the rounds online for some days
now. According to US Weekly a friend of K’Naan, confirmed to the site that the
“Wavin’ Flag” artist and Lupita have been dating since September.
“She loves his humanitarianism,” the
friend said of 31-year-old Lupita. “They’re both passionate about African
issues.”
K’Nann, who’s 36, reportedly has two
son from a previous marriage with pharmacy tech Deqa Warsame. According to the
friend, he and Lupita, who’ve only been dating for six months now, are taking
things slow, noting that ”She hasn’t met his kids.”
Rumors began circulating about
Lupita and K’Naan after they were seen in a cozy embrace after the Academy
Award’s and K’Naan had the “12 Years a Slave” actress’s Oscar for Best
Supporting Actress in tow.
