Tuesday 19th February 2013 - Residents of Busumbura village in Busia County, Kenya, woke up to a horrifying scene when they found a dead body of a man dumped in the trading centre.
The man, identified as George Njaga is believed to have been murdered by unknown assailants and his body dragged to the scene. It is alleged that the man who was a prominent businessperson had failed to honor a deal they had with his business partners. Sources reveal that the man was given a large sum of money to import a car for his friend.
It is said that he went missing with the money angering the partner who tracked him down and murdered him. While confirming the incident Busia OCPD said that a manhunt had been launched to arrest the assailants. He asked the public to volunteer any information that could help in the investigation.
The body was taken to Busia District Hospital Mortuary.
