It is no longer news that Moses Obi-Adigwe has become the first male contestant to emerge winner of Nigerian Idol.
The 22-year-old could not contain his joy as he sputtered over and over again, ‘This is a new beginning in my career and life… you don’t understand!’
The singer gets a brand new SUV and a 7.5-million-naira cheque, as well as a recording contract worth another N7.5 million.
First Runner-up, Debbie Rise drove home in a brand new Kia Picanto.
