Former NAFDAC DG and repersentative at the ongoing National Conference in Abuja Mrs Dora Akunyili’s health condition has deteriorated. Saharareporters claims sources close to the former DG and some delegates at the CONFAB confirmed to them that Mrs Dora’s health worsened a few days ago and she has been hospitalized in an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.
“Our sources disclosed that Mrs. Akunyili’s condition worsened a few days ago, prompting her hospitalization at an undisclosed hospital in Abuja.
SaharaReporters called Mrs. Akunyili’s mobile telephone twice today. During the first call, a female voice passed on our call to her but she abruptly hung up. During a subsequent call, the female voice said Mrs. Akunyili was sleeping, but refused to disclose her condition or specific location.”
Mrs Akunyili who battled with an undisclosed ailment for many months assured the public she has fully recovered after she made her first public appearance at the National Conference looking frail and emaciated.
