Sule Udi Ringim, the deputy speaker of the Jigawa State House of
Assembly is dead.
Hon Inuwa Sule Udi died in an auto crash in Kano while on
his way to to his hometown, Ringim. The fatal accident occurred in
Jogana Village on Kano-Hadejia Road on Thursday night during a heavy
downpour.
Udi, who passed on at 52 has been a member of the House of Assembly
since 1999 when he was elected to represent Ringim Constituency and he
became Deputy Speaker in 2003. He never lost an election all through his
political life. Udi is survived by two wives and children. His burial
has been slated for Friday.
